Alongside the usual good selection of original etchings, engravings, wood engravings, lithographs and colour woodcuts by established artists of the early twentieth century, this year I will showing a number of works by the Japanese artist YOSHIJIRO URUSHIBARA.

Urushibara lived in England from 1911 to 1940 and, as a gifted colour woodcut craftsman, he contributed much to the growing interest in the technique amongst printmakers of the early part of the century.

His own original works were much admired but it was his collaboration with Sir Frank Brangwyn on several major colour woodcuts that brought him lasting recognition. Some of these will be on show.
